Correct Placement

Physical vignette stickers must be affixed to the inside of the windscreen in the upper left corner (from the driver's perspective), or behind the rear-view mirror if there is a heating element or tinting in that area. The sticker must be clearly visible from outside the vehicle.

Critical: Do not place the sticker on a removable holder. The sticker is non-transferable — attempting to remove it will destroy it.

For the digital vignette, no physical placement is required. Your registration plate is registered in the ASFINAG system and verified automatically by enforcement cameras.
